I dreamed of an
old friend that I haven’t seen since high school and in the dream I found out
that I wasn’t invited to her wedding.
Anyways, in the dream I remember that I was sitting in the audience and
saw a great big gray elephant and on top the elephant was three Asian brides
wearing the traditional red Chinese wedding dress. I remember the three brides were wearing
heavy red makeup, like red lipstick, blush, eye shadow, etc. The makeup looked like the brides are from
the 1970’s and that it felt that I watching a show or circus of some kind. I
just remember seeing the gray elephant and how it was being pleasant and
friendly towards the audience.
After waking up
from that dream, I felt more at peace and calm.
I looked online last night what that dream meant and found one dream
interpretation that made sense to me.
(There’s like a bunch of different dream interpretations for the elephant).
According to http://www.sleeps.com/dictionary/eee.html
it states:
Elephant
Seeing an elephant in your dream is
defined more by the animals attitude and occupation. If the elephant is pleasant
and friendly you will have good luck in what you are undertaking to do, and if
you are riding on the beast you will have much success. If you see an elephant
performing, as in a circus, you will be surrounded by happy, loving people, and
if you see the elephant doing a job you will have success above your wildest
dreams. Another meaning of the elephant dream has to do with whether or not you
are seeking answers, or go to sleep with a particular problem on your mind, in
which case the elephant denotes the key to knowledge and truth, and after sight
of the elephant you will be told the answer.
Omg, it’s so freaky how after I wrote in my blog entry on Sunday night
that I actually received a dream that is related to how I was feeling that
night. It was sort of like the answers
to my prayers or perhaps a good omen.
Too bad that I don’t remember what else happened in the dream. Now if this interpretation is true I just
need to relax and let the answer come to me naturally.
